Okushiba Shoten's Odori-area shop, built around the concept of 'coming home to grandma's house': Showa-retro interiors, rare tatami seating, and water served from a kettle. The famous shrimp broth is the same — drawn every morning from over 2,000 sweet-shrimp heads — with Hokkaido-grown vegetables and meat.
