Editor's Note
Thirty seconds on foot from Odori Park — soup curry by day, a bar by night. The soup is built on onions cooked down to a tenth of their weight with a lift of tomato acidity, described by the shop as gentle on the palate. Distinctive mains include jerk chicken, beef offal in salted-squid miso, and lamb shabu. Their aged roux curry is a second signature. Lunch only for curry; closed Sundays.
