Editor's Note
The downtown branch of SOUP CURRY KING, founded in 2007. The signature double soup combines an animal stock of chicken and pork bones simmered for two days with an umami stock of kombu, dried sardines and bonito — rich but never heavy. Near Odori and Tanukikoji, busy with locals and travelers alike.
