Two minutes from Odori Station and going for over twenty years. The house style is 'kossari' — rich yet refreshing — achieved by melting mashed Hokkaido potatoes into the soup for extra body. The number-one order is the fall-apart chicken finished in garlic oil. Monthly specials and afternoon cafe hours make it an easy downtown stop.
