Editor's Note
Okushiba Shoten's most unusual branch, tucked into the Miyanomori hills: a shop staffed entirely by women aged 60 and over ('obaa' — grandmas). The shrimp broth uses about 10 kg of shrimp per batch, and there's a chicken paitan soup you won't find at other branches. Tempura is the house specialty. Lunch only, closed Thursdays.
