Editor's Note
Founded in 1985 — one of the oldest soup curry shops still serving. Kitaro established the tomato-based soup and is credited with inventing the fried-vegetable topping style, influencing countless shops that followed. The classic order is chicken and vegetables; the famous topping is fried nanohana greens. Ten minutes on foot from Sumikawa Station, and still drawing lines after four decades.
