Editor's Note
A legendary Sri Lankan-style curry shop that opened in 1984 in Odori Nishi 15-chome. Its numbered spice-level system (going beyond 100) is said to be the origin of the heat-level menus now standard at Sapporo soup curry shops. After several closures and revivals, it closed for good in 2017. Its apprentices went on to open Murakami Curry PuruPuru and gop no Anagura, and the lineage lives on.
